 Enhancing performance through learned activities

Both types of training are designed enhance performance through learned activities.  Mental training focuses on the mind, while physical training focuses on the body.  Even though the primary focus may be the mind or may be the body, most training incorporates both elements.  For example, in order to properly and efficiently operate a computer software system, one will need to understand the concept and the steps, he or she must also be able to physically operate the computer.  Likewise, a person not only must physically perform a set of lunges or squats, he or she must also understand how to correctly perform the action.
